Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall perform TAB services to the sections of the HVAC system and Hydronic System that are not temporarily blocked. The unblocked sections shall remain operational during IWL construction. Once IWL construction is complete and the temporarily blocked sections are operational, the Contractor shall perform TAB services on the entire HVAC system. There will be various types of HVAC units, including heat pump HVAC units, split system heat pumps, packaged roof-top units, Variable Air Volume units (VAV), and exhaust fans. The Contractor shall use accurate means of measuring airflow and temperatures to balance the HVAC system for optimum performance throughout the system. The Contractor shall check and verify all installed dampers for the proper settings and operations. Work shall include: Jobsite meetings and coordination with Construction Supervisors and Commissioning Agents Supervision by an AABC Certified Test and Balance Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer Work Plan TAB procedures TAB of systems Reports per specifications The Contractor shall work with the IWL Site Supervisor and cooperate with the CDCR and all trades during all phases of work to resolve design or field conflict. In the event of a conflict between the Scope of Work (SOW) and the Plans and Specifications, the SOW shall prevail.
