Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) intends to solicit proposals to support HIV Dental Services. Target population include HIV-positive residents of San Francisco, requiring dental services who are uninsured and/or under-insured, who may be homeless and/or marginally housed, have income under 400% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL - as defined by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services), multi-diagnosed (HIV, substance use, mental health and/or other co-morbidities) and/or are out of medical treatment. Populations may include, but are not limited to, individuals who are gay and bisexual men, people of color, transgender, persons who are multiply diagnosed (living with HIV, active substance users and/or with active mental health issues), previously incarcerated, and/or immigrants. Enrollment priority is for residents of San Francisco who have low-income and are uninsured. Secondary consideration is reserved for residents of San Francisco who have low-income and are under-insured. Ryan White Part A funds may only be used for services that are not reimbursed by any other source of federal, state or private revenue.
