Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide an initial inventory of 130 White Laboratory coats - 65%/35% or 80%/20% poly/cotton blend, white, knee length, long sleeved, and button front, and 600 glass towels, and 2 – 4’x6’ scraper mats, and 17- 4’x6’ mats. 2. Provide personalized measuring and fitting services of the lab coats for employees upon execution of the contract if needed. 3. Maintain linen, repair torn pockets, and replace missing buttons. 4. Inspect linen weekly and make repairs as needed prior to delivery to the PPDC. 5. Replace linens on an as needed basis. 6. Provide “service needed” tags for PPDC staff to affix to linen items when service is needed. 7. Provide soiled laundry receptacles for all three (3) delivery drop-off locations: 1) 1 st floor-Plant Pathology lab (Media Kitchen) in Rm. 127a (coats and towels), 2) Nematology lab in Rm. 169 (coats and towels), 3) 2 nd floor-Seed lab in Rm. 260 (coats and towels) at 3294 Meadowview Road. There should be separate receptacles for soiled coats and soiled towels. 8. Provide all mats to be switched out at their original site and replaced with clean mats weekly. The mat locations include inside and outside every building entrance/exit doors with the remainder in laboratories throughout the PPDC. 9. Provide weekly pick up of soiled linen and replace with clean items on designated delivery days between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. 10.Towels will be replaced based on the number turned in for the prior week (to maintain total of 600).
