Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 Flow Study Conduct a Flow Study to analyze the current system conditions and to determine the system demands in association with the Larsson Street and 2nd Street Booster Pump Stations, such as average day, maximum day, peak hour, and maximum day plus fire flow conditions. Task 2 Basis of Design Report Prepare a Basis of Design Report, which evaluates in detail the items and design alternatives listed below and provides construction cost estimates for each of these items. The evaluation of each design alternative shall include details regarding design flows, pump and motor alternatives, and standby power needs. a. Larsson Street Booster Pump Station Vault Evaluate the cracks within the structure of the existing Larsson Street Booster Pump Station vault to determine if any repair is required in order to maintain the existing structure. Provide recommendations and cost estimates for all repair work options, if deemed necessary. b. Edison Equipment Located in Larsson Street Booster Pump Station Vault Evaluate whether the Edison equipment currently located within the vault of the Larsson Street Booster Pump Station can be moved out of the vault and provide associated estimated cost impacts.
