Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor’s responsibilities shall include the following: A. Conduct independent bill review for cases that DWC deems eligible under standards adopted by DWC and refers to the IBRO. Towards that end, the Contractor’s responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: a. Establishing and providing sufficient administrative facilities and staff, organizational policies and procedures, and available qualified bill reviewers free from conflicts of interest as set forth in Section B “Minimum Qualifications of Proposers” below, and provide timely, complete and professional case analyses and determinations as described in Labor Code section 4603.6 and 8 C.C.R. section 9792.5.9 et seq. b. Providing reviews as set forth in the Deliverable section of this RFP. c. Recruiting and verifying credentials of bill reviewers. d. Performing conflicts of interest checks. e. Disclose financial interests of its employees. f. Accepting IBR applications via mail, fax or online submission. g. Conducting the initial review of the IBR applications for eligibility under guidelines determined by DIR/DWC. h. Conducting a secondary review of the IBR applications for eligibility under guidelines determined by DIR/DWC following the submission of documents by the payer/claims administrator. i. Notifying the parties of IBR assignments and requesting mandatory information in a timely manner. j. Ensuring that at all times it will have sufficient number of reviewers available to satisfy the review time frames set forth in this RFP.
