Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Proposer shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required to provide a comprehensive vehicle-training program that includes hands on behind the wheel training as well as classroom only courses. The program shall use standardized educational training and demonstrate a proven history of success documenting reduced vehicle accidents. The training program must utilize common principles that can be applied to all vehicle types and drivers, focusing on driving behaviors that can be measured, and documented. The educational programs and products need to include Hands on driver training courses using vehicles representative of actual SMUD field vehicles, online computer training, video media, DVD’s and printed training materials to aid in overall employee learning. Support programs for vehicle tracking (i.e. Bumper Sticker) are also needed.
