Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to provide prospective Third Party Administrators (TPA) with information that will enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for third party administration service to the Alameda County Water District’s insurance programs. TPA’s responding to this proposal must be a recognized claims administrator of workers compensation and general liability, licensed to do such business in the state of California. The Alameda County Water District is looking for a TPA partnership that will deliver objective and measurable results that will reduce the cost and duration of our claims, provide claim processing in a timely and professional manner, assist in returning injured employees back to work and maintaining strong communications with the injured workers and the Alameda County Water District. The District’s goals and objectives in this RFP are guided by the need to: o Obtain the services of an insurance broker licensed in the State of California to act as the District's Broker of Record and assist the District in all aspects of risk transfer. Have access to a web based Risk Information Management System (RIMS) to manage District Risk activities. o Obtain the best mix of insurance coverages, at a reasonable cost including but not limited to: INSURANCE COVERAGE BROKER SERVICES COMPREHENSIVE RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR/ THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATION (TPA) RISK MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
