Specifications include, but are not limited to: All construction services and phasing for the conversion of an existing museum space, Room 141, of the Chemical Sciences Building located on the campus of California State University. Base scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the conversion of the existing space into two (2) new Anatomy Teaching Laboratory spaces, including storage space and office. Each lab space is designed to accommodate twelve (12) students at each lab peninsula bench with downdraft exhausts, cabinets, sinks, and flat screen monitors. Work includes upgrades to the existing fire alarm and sprinkler system, existing low voltage/data technology, and minor restroom upgrades for ADA compliance. Mechanical work includes installation of a new outdoor air handling unit, addition of new distribution ductwork, rework of existing ductwork and trim inside the space, rework of CHW/HW piping inside the building, performing testing, adjusting and balancing on the new and existing systems, and upgrade of the building automation system including tie-in of the controls back to the central plant.
