Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Flyer/Promotional Materials 1. The Consultant must develop a flyer and/or other promotional materials to recruit 15 Community Advocates to participate in the BAH Homeless Outreach SA1 Project. 2. Any flyers and/or other promotional materials must include a copy of the LACDMH logo, the BAH UsCC logo, and the MHSA logo. 3. The flyers and/or other promotional materials, including those utilizing social media platforms, must be submitted to LACDMH for approval before implementation. i. All social media posts must include information on where and how to access mental health services. ii. The LACDMH 24/7 Help Line must be included in every social media post (LACDMH 24/7 Help Line 800-854-7771), as well as the 988 Lifeline. iii. Consultant shall be solely liable and responsible for any and all social media posts. Consultant shall indemnify and hold harmless the County from and against any liabilities and costs arising from, connected with, or related to social media posts as part of this project. 4. The flyers and/or other promotional materials are the property of LACDMH. 5. Payment is contingent upon completion of Deliverable 1 activities (as listed above) and submission of all required paperwork. B. Development of Community Outreach Sessions 1. The Consultant will facilitate a minimum of 5 sessions. Each session must be a minimum of 2 hours in duration. All 15 Community Advocates must attend the 5 sessions. 2. The Consultant must develop the agendas, schedules, and identify speakers/instructors for the 5 sessions. 3. The agendas, schedules, and any session materials must be submitted to LACDMH for approval prior to implementation. 4. The community outreach sessions will comprise at a minimum of five modules which must include at minimum the following: Public speaking, outreach and engagement techniques, basic signs and symptoms of mental health, de-escalation strategies, field safety, data collection, interview techniques, resource linkage. 5. At the start of the sessions, the Consultant will provide the Community Advocates with the pre-test that was developed in the second deliverable. At the end of the last session, the Consultant will provide the Community Advocates with the post-test that was developed in the second deliverable. All Community Advocates attending the sessions must complete the pre and post-test. i. The Consultant must submit copies of all completed pre and posttests to LACDMH. 6. The Consultant must coordinate and identify the location where the sessions will take place. 7. The facilities must be centrally located and easily accessible by public transportation. 8. The Consultant must pay for all the speakers/instructors and facility fees. 9. The Consultant must utilize a sign-in sheet to track the attendance of Community Advocates during the sessions. The Consultant must submit copies of all sign-in sheets to LACDMH. 10.Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 public health crisis, Consultant will ensure that they abide by local public health order and guidelines.
