Specifications include, but are not limited to: Care Services Agency (hereafter HCSA or the County) in this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek proposals from qualified behavioral health providers with experience serving Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Refugees/Asylees to design, develop, and pilot culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate strategies in engagement, improved access to integrated behavioral health and primary care services, and capacity building through cross training of mental health providers and community based providers. The purpose of this project is to serve AANHPI and Refugee/Asylee residents of Alameda County who are consumers of mental health services and/or substance use disorder programs, their family members, and/or individuals of any age who are currently under-served by mental health services due to language and cultural barriers.
