Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work involves the installation of Granular Activated Carbon treatment vessels for the removal of 1,2,3 TCP and related influent and effluent piping at the City’s Water Plant 4 located at the southeast corner of the 20th Avenue and Flores Street intersection. The project includes new raw water pipelines from Well 26, Well 30, and Well 33 to Plant 4, new treated water pipeline from Plant 4 to the intersection of 20th Avenue and Browning Road, new on-site stormwater management system at Plant 4, new storm drain pipeline from Plant 4 to the existing sump north of 20th Avenue on Browning Road, removal of existing storm drain from the intersection of 20th Avenue and Browning Road to the existing sump, new booster pumps, new chemical storage and feed systems, new chemical storage enclosure, new chemical feed building, replacement of existing electrical equipment, new generator, site grading, new on-site concrete and asphalt concrete paving, new street improvements, new block wall, replacement of existing chain link fencing, and new wrought-iron fencing with rolling drive gates.
