Specifications include, but are not limited to: Upgrading the thermal marine camera on its Marine Unit #7 vessel. The new thermal imaging camera equipment is expected to provide greater detail and resolution of environmental conditions in near darkness, through solar glare, and through light fog and smoke. The equipment will also make it easier to locate individuals during search and rescue missions. This project is funded by a federal grant.
