Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Health Services (DHS), on behalf of the County’s Correctional Health Services (CHS), is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information from organizations that operate one or more skilled nursing facilities and may be interested in contracting with the County to provide Skilled Nursing Services (Services) to CHS patients who are in custody at the County jail. The ideal organizations should be able to provide the services, using an evidence-based approach, along with the appropriate support to optimize the potential for the patients’ health to be restored sufficiently so they may repatriate to a non-medical housing setting in the jail.
