The El Dorado Irrigation District (District) is proposing to replace manage video security, access control, and burglar alarms for District sites and facilities. The District intends to prequalify contractors to receive an invitation to respond to a forthcoming request for proposal (RFP). The project is expected to be a multi-phase, multi-year project to update, upgrade, replace, and/or install new video security cameras, video security management system (VMS), electronic control access management software, electronic access control hardware, and burglar alarms. The District estimates that the first phase of the project will encompass six (6) sites with an estimated value of $350,000 to 400,000. The total project will likely take 5-7 years to complete for a total estimated value of $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. The selected contractor will install, manage, and provide ongoing maintenance of the new security system.
