Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. ROUTINE SERVICES: 1. Contractor shall be assigned the work on an on-call as-needed basis through service telephone calls by the CalVet Contract Manager or designee. 2. Contractor shall start work on all repairs/servicing no later than 24/48 hours after requested by the CalVet Contract Manager or designee. Contractor shall complete all services before the expiration of seven (7) working days or less, unless more time is approved in advance by the CalVet Contract Manager or designee. 3. If Contractor failed to begin work in the time required, this shall be considered default and be grounds for termination of this Agreement. 4. Contractor’s telephone shall be answered between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Messages left by the CalVet Contract Manager or his/her designee or the Plant Ops Maintenance Manager on an answering service or mechanical device during this time frame will be responded to by close of business or sooner if possible. Messages left between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays will be responded to as soon as possible on the first business day after the message is left. 5. In no case shall the Contractor engage in any solicitation of business that might subject CalVet to any liability for payment while providing services under this Agreement. 6. Contractor’s responsibility to notify the CalVet Contract Manager or his/her designee within 24 hours of work completion to have all work inspected 7. The CalVet Contract Manager or designee shall notify Contractor of the location and extent of the work. This notification shall be the complete instruction and authorization for the proposed work and the Contractor shall comply fully with all contract requirements. a. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform Ricon wheelchair lift services on Cal Vet owned vehicles at the Home consisting of the following quantities and types of lifts: • Five each K series 800 lb. capacity folding platform lifts; • Three each Titanium 1000 lb. capacity solid platform lifts; and • Two each S series 800 lb. capacity solid platform lifts.
