Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Explore the subsurface conditions of the site to the depths influenced by the proposed construction• Evaluate geologic hazards that may influence the subject development such as seismic settlement of dry granular soils, seismic shaking, etc.• Evaluate by laboratory testing, the engineering properties of the various strata which may influence the proposed development, including bearing capacities, expansive characteristics, and corrosion potential of earth material in direct contact with concrete• Address potential construction difficulties that may be encountered due to soil conditions, groundwater or geologic hazards, and provide recommendations concerning these problems• Develop soil engineering criteria for site grading• Recommend an appropriate foundation system for the proposed light poles at the site and develop soil engineering design criteria for the recommended designs• Present professional opinions in a report which will include, in addition to conclusions and recommendations, a plot plan, exploration logs and summary of laboratory test results
