Specifications include, but are not limited to: Areas of Expertise: security, certs for TLS/SSL, JDK, WebLogic, WSLT, V3, oracle wallet, vendor performance Issues, backups & recovery, log management, alerting, I.T. database services (all platforms), maintenance, storage services, audit assistance, blocking services and monitoring. Services to be provided, including but not limited to: 1. Database administration. This includes security, patching, storage, optimization, lock/block clearing and alerting to errors in logs or with transactions. Common Oracle database administration of OCERS Production, Test and Development environments includes: o Installation and configuration of Oracle database software. o Database backup and recovery management. o Performance tuning and optimization. o Security management and user access control. o Patching and upgrading of Oracle database software. o Monitoring and troubleshooting of database issues. o Capacity planning and database growth management. o Database replication and data synchronization. o Disaster recovery planning and implementation. o Database documentation and reporting. 2. TLS/SSL Certificate storage, renewal, and maintenance. This includes management of Oracle Wallet, Java Key Stores, certificate authority facilitation and troubleshooting. Perform annual updates to install new SSL certificates. 3. Weblogic administration. This includes patching and security configuration using java, wlst and the admin. Traffic is monitored and alerted by processes that are built and maintained. Logs are consolidated and reviewed for any issues. 4. Apache Server administration and support. 5. Dev Ops automation with scripts on servers. This includes using languages dos batch, wlst, c#, and PowerShell to schedule backups, stats gathering, log compiling, and other server maintenance issues.
