Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Contractor must provide all labor, materials, services, tools, and equipment required to perform and complete all structured cabling system installation and maintenance work listed in this Section IX, SCOPE OF SERVICES, in coordination with VTA’s Technology Department (“Work”). b. In addition to the structured cabling system installation and maintenance, the Work includes Contractor providing all labor, materials, services, tools, and equipment required to furnish and complete all new VTA build-out facilities and Trailers as defined in given work order(s). The Work associated with new build-out facilities may consist of the following categories: • Design and procurement of structured cabling infrastructure • Installation, termination, and testing of data cabling infrastructure • Cable dressing and labelling • Design and installation of server room rack layout • Procurement and installation of fire rated plywood backboard for telecommunication equipment • Procurement and installation of grounding busbars • Procurement and installation of conduits sleeves and bushings • Procurement and installation of J-hooks and mounting hardware • Procurement and installation of Power Distribution Units (PDUs) • Procurement and installation of rack equipment including but not limited to: o Two post racks and/or Communications cabinets o Patch panels o Horizontal and vertical cable managers o Patch cables of various lengths and colors o Keystone jacks of various colors o Grounding lugs and wires o Overhead ladder racks, runways, angle support kits, and mounting plates • Procurement and installation of wall and furniture outlets and faceplates. • Installation of VTA-provided network, communications, and security system equipment such as CCTV cameras, WAPs, Network switches, routers, etc.) • All other items identified in given work order(s).
