Specifications include, but are not limited to: Address the underserved Native American populations by providing prevention, early intervention, outreach and engagement services to unserved and underserved families, individuals, secondary school aged children, and TAY. The awarded applicant shall: • Conduct culturally appropriate programs that engage participants in healthy activities and offer opportunities to connect with their Native American culture. • Build culturally appropriate protective factors such as community connection, positive relationships, and self-esteem. Applicant will help reduce risk factors for developing a potentially serious mental illness through outreach and engagement. • Conduct outreach strategies that target secondary school and transition age youth (TAY) which include education and engagement as well as linkage to mental health services as necessary. • Promote recovery and related functional outcomes for a mental illness early in its emergence. This may include intervening early to mitigate the negative consequences of untreated mental illness and/or working to prevent relapse. • Provide referral and linkage to treatment and/or appropriate community resources that use evidence-based practices. Additionally, cooperation with County Data Collection and Reporting Requirements is mandatory for the awarded applicant. Reporting requirements are subject to change but may include conducting regular meetings with the County and providing quarterly and year end reports that contain information such as: • Verification of participant attendance or client service utilization and outcomes • Activity reports including accomplishments, challenges, outcomes, and statistics of the number of clients served and/or number of potential clients reached • Demographics of all clients served • Detailed, itemized invoices
