Specifications include, but are not limited to: The firm will provide pre-examination services to assess the medical information provided by LAFPP staff regarding each applicant's claim for disability. These services shall include, but not be limited to: Reviewing the applicant's claimed disability(ies), as described on their disability application, plus all medical records obtained from various sources, to determine the medical specialty (usually one to three) most applicable to evaluating the applicant's claimed disability(ies). The medical specialties commonly used by LAFPP for evaluations include, but are not limited to: • Allergy • Cardiology • Dermatology • Ear, Nose, and Throat • Endocrinology • Gastroenterology • Hematology • Immunology • Infectious Disease • Internal Medicine • Neurology • Neuropsychology • Oncology • Ophthalmology • Orthopedics • Pathology • Psychiatry • Pulmonology • Radiology • Rheumatology • Urology
