Specifications include, but are not limited to: City shall issue an "Annual Purchase Order" to provide Elevator Inspection and Repair Services for all City facilities for an initial period of 12 months. Prices shall include all costs for the services described. All overhead costs, including but not limited to travel, equipment maintenance etc. shall be included in hourly rates. Prices shall remain in effect for the term of the contract or 120 days from the RFQ deadline date. All repairs are to be based on the hourly rates quoted. Do not include sales taxes in the quote price. Discounts should be deducted from the hourly rate and the net prices should be shown on the quote. One elevator is located in the AK Smiley Library and one elevator is located at the Civic Center. City of Redlands business license is required. Repair services are requested on an as needed basis. Inspection services are provided monthly. When applicable, the City is subject to the State of California prevailing wage laws as set forth in the California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. The contractor is responsible for determining the appropriate Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) classification for the various employees and subcontractors used for a particular project or service. The rates for each classification are posted on the DIR website. All contractors performing work for the City are responsible for abiding by all applicable prevailing wage laws, and must furnish the City with all required documents prior to any work start. Insurance: Before entering into a Contract, the bidder to whom the Contract has been awarded shall furnish satisfactory evidence that they have secured full Worker's Compensation Insurance and Comprehensive General Public Liability Insurance from a responsible insurance company authorized to do business in the state of California and satisfactory to the City, and such insurance shall be maintained in full force and effect at the Contractor's own expense during the life of the Contract. Contractor shall furnish City with the customary Certificates of Insurance for both Worker's Compensation and Comprehensive General Liability Insurance in accordance with the City's requirements.
