Specifications include, but are not limited to: lining of the City’s storm drain pipelines that cross under Highway 12 from Chipman Drive south to storm drain channel in the Suisun Slough. Prospective bidders are to respond to the Request for Proposal for this project as well as to the Bidder’s Book in the specifications. Among the proposal submittal required of Proposers is a Work Plan. In general, the work to be performed consists of supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment, implements and methods of process to complete the following work: Lining an existing storm drain pipeline that crosses under Highway 12. The project pipeline runs side by side with and is in between two other storm drain pipelines. The project scope includes videotaping, removing root intrusion via chemical and mechanical root cleaning and removal methods, cleaning and prepping all three pipelines. On the upstream end, the pipelines start at storm drain pumps dedicated to each pipeline, and outfall into a storm drain channel within the Suisun Marsh. Said storm drain channel is tidally influenced. during low tide. The tides will impact the construction schedule. The Contractor’s Work Plan shall detail how Contractor proposes to address this issue and how this issue will impact the construction schedule
