Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Must have: FDA (Registration or License) CLIA Registration STATE license for state testing in and ability to test samples drawn in California JACHO/CAP/COLA (at least one accrediting certificate) AABB Accreditation 2. Must use testing kits that have been approved for donor testing by the FDA for tests mandated by the FDA. 3. Must provide availability of Institutional Review Board, (IRB), for use of testing kits that have not been approved for donor testing by the FDA for tests mandated by the FDA. 4. Must follow FDA and AABB guidelines for donor testing. Which includes but is not limited to the following standard Donor Panel tests: ABO/Rh typing (Method designed to detect weak D) Red cell Antibody Screen- detecting clinically significant antibodies: Syphilis (STS) HBsAg (Hepatitis B Surface Antigen) HBcAb (Hepatitis B Core Antibody).
