The City is seeking a qualified bidder who can perform the work under this contract that consists of header & slot grinding existing pavement, placement of asphalt base pavement, placement of asphalt leveling course, placement of ARHM overlay, placement of PCC sidewalk, removal and replacement of PCC curb & gutter, AC berm, drive approaches, curb ramps, installation of detectable warning surfaces, adjustment of water valves & covers, adjustment of manhole rings & covers, installation of traffic signal loops, installation of video detection system, thermoplastic striping and marking removal and replacement, and installation and adjustment of other appurtenances necessary to complete the improvements as described in the Plans and Specifications. Night work may be allowed (weather permitting) in commercial areas with the Engineer’s approval. Additional phasing may be needed to complete portions each night. Work may also be allowed on weekends to avoid traffic volume as approved by the Project Engineer.
