Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Gilbert seeks a qualified Architectural/Engineering (A-E) firm experienced with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery to provide, design and post design services for the WA1310 Tankersley Waterline Replacement Area 2 project. The A-E services for the project will be implemented as follows: 1. Design & Construction Phase - Scope and fee will be negotiated based on the information indicated herein. a. As part of the project work scope, CIP No.WA1180 - Waterline Replacement Tanklersley, a report was prepared that includes two (2) Tankersley Water Replacement areas. The two (2) areas that are included in the report “Waterline Tankersley Replacements – Functional and Engineering Program Report – Final” (see attached) for the purposes of clarity the subject areas were named Tankersley North and Tankersley South. The Tankersley South references and relevant information in the report refer to the WA1310 Tankersley Waterline Replacement Area 2. b. There may be substantial down time between during Right of Way/Easement acquisition efforts. The project includes a design phase and construction phase to replace existing water infrastructure with new water distribution pipelines and services in the Town water service area. The subject property area boundaries are generally described as follows: 1. Tankersley Waterline Replacement Area 2 - bounded by Pecos Road on the north, Greenfield Road on the east, Coronado Road (156TH St) on the west, and by Germann Road on the south. Construction will include but is not limited to replacement and upsizing of existing infrastructure, including but not limited to the replacement and/or abandonment of existing water pipelines, installation of new 8-inch and larger water pipelines, residential water services and meters. Specific services will include but are not limited to: 1. Design & Construction Phase Progress Meetings. 2. Existing document review, existing site review assessing proposed and existing facilities, service area survey, flow testing and pressure monitoring analysis as applicable. 3. Permitting Assistance. Agency and utility location and coordination. 4. Water meter and water service relocation/installation. 5. Public Information, Outreach meetings. 6. Milestone progress and 100% (Final) Approved Construction Documents. 7. Design milestone progress Construction Cost Estimates. 8. Prioritization of project work items in terms of construction costs and sequencing/phasing. 9. Recommendations regarding schedule/project budget/GMP at milestone progress submittals and Final Approved Construction Document submittals. 10. Assist in CMAR’s GMP Development through analytic reviews and recommendations.
