Specifications include, but are not limited to: Acquisition, rehabilitation and resale of vacant, abandoned or foreclosed properties to households with incomes at or below 50 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). Funds include down payment assistance in support of eligible households. New construction in targeted neighborhoods of vacant or demolished properties (i.e., vacant land or vacant buildings) for sale to households with incomes at or below 50 percent of AMI. Single-family residential, modular homes, condominiums, and townhomes are eligible end products given the zoning and adopted building code specifications are followed. Considering only developer qualifications at this time, with properties and eligible families to be identified by the City and the Developer in collaboration to meet the grant’s eligibility requirement. Performance does not meet the benefit test until the address is occupied by an income eligible person.
