Within PHEP is The Radiation Emergency Preparedness & Response (REPR) Program that plays a key role in the Palo Verde Generating Station(PVGS) Exercise and Planning Program and is funded by Nuclear Management Fund. REPR providesRadiation Absorbed Dose response training to fire departments, HAZMAT teams, The Arizona Departmentof Public Safety (DPS), The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the US Department of Energy.During PVGS drills this highly experienced team serves ADHS as field monitoring leads and technical operations coordination support, bringing solid expertise to our preparedness program.
