Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Kingman is expanding its sewer system to facilitate growth in the eastern part of the city limits. The goal of this project is to implement a portion of the City’s Wastewater Master Plan by constructing a new gravity interceptor main which will allow sewer flows from areas east of State Route 66 and south of the airport to be conveyed to the City’s primary outfall mains. The interceptor will begin in the vicinity of Thompson Avenue and Castle Rock Road and will terminate east of the railroad tracks in the vicinity of the Diagonal Wash. The project will consist of installing the new interceptor and all related facilities. The City may include other miscellaneous improvements within the project limits as needed. The proposed interceptor will cross both State Route 66 and BNSF railroad tracks and we anticipate that both crossings will require jack and bore construction. The City is particularly interested in selecting a CMAR that has experience with working in both ADOT and BNSF right of way and that has proven experience with jack and bore construction. Additionally, the interceptor will pass through a residential area and the City will be looking for a CMAR that can work with the local residents during construction to minimize access disruptions and complaints.
