Specifications include, but are not limited to: all manufacturers factory recommended maintenance requirements, including thorough, monthly or quarterly inspection of each piece of equipment to ensure the safety of the customer/user. Strength equipment will be checked for any loose hardware, worn belts/cables and pulleys will be inspected to ensure proper operation, no worn parts or parts in danger of failure. All pivot points/guide rods will be lubed/greased and inspected for wear. All cardio equipment will be thoroughly inspected including proper weight stack operation and safe operation of all moving parts bearing weight. All treadmill running belts will be tracked, tensioned, adjusted and cleaned under the surface. Treadmill decks will be flipped where possible. All power cords will be inspected for any pinches/breaks or improper connections. All equipment will be calibrated, and settings checked to confirm equipment is operating in conjunction with software and computer components. All overlays and stop switches will be inspected. Technicians will reference all error logs to confirm issues occurring between the monthly or quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
