Specifications include, but are not limited to: Reduce pest sightings to zero or acceptable levels Adjust service as needed to reflect seasonal or infestation requirements Identify and document conditions that may contribute to pest problems Track pest mitigation / control by site, by building, by room, etc. Put in place a preventative maintenance program to exclude pests from all contracted sites Comply with all regulatory agencies Maintain records of all treatments and inspections as needed by such agencies Perform regular monthly inspection / treatment of all sites Post appropriate notices as required by regulatory agencies Provide education to District personal in the area of Integrated Pest Management The District requires: site – fence line to fence line coverage for pest control management services emergency services available 24/7 removal of feral cats and dogs and dead animals Covered Pests: Pests covered are to include but not limited to ants, cockroaches, mice, spiders, beetles, scorpions, centipedes, crickets, millipedes, earwigs, pill bugs, and bee removal (including hives). Exclusions to service: Exclusions to site – fence line to fence line coverage: snakes, Gila monsters, skunks, squirrels, ground squirrels, other wildlife (javelin, bobcats, etc.), bird and bat control. Treatment Methods: The licensed Contractor must follow an integrated pest management program that targets specific areas or pest occurrences, not just a routine spraying of chemicals. Exterior Control The licensed Contractor must perform monthly inspections at all contracted sites. If an infestation is noted, Contractor will provide non-chemical control methods, such as glue boards or bait traps as appropriate. If chemical treatment is warranted, Contractor will notify designated staff and arrange for such treatment outside of school hours.
