Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City expects to refer up to 10-20 vehicles for repair each week for regular PM (Preventative Maintenance) and maintenance repairs. The City expects to refer up to two (2) vehicles for specialty repair and dealer required OEM repairs each week. Also, an average of eight (8) vehicles require storage each night for repairs taking multiple days or for a variety of other reasons. The contract requires the Contractor to pick up and redeliver vehicles, therefore a conveniently located repair facility is important. In addition to price, the City will evaluate the suitability of the proposed facility, including size, cleanliness, layout, storage lot capacity and security. The experience of the Contractor's staff and management, adequacy of their tools and equipment, the capacity to handle the contract workload, and the firm's general reputation in the business community will also be evaluated.
