Specifications include, but are not limited to: The resulting Contract for Food Services Management shall apply to the colleges and centers of MCCCD, except for those locations and services as follows: • The two Maricopa Skill Centers – Gateway Community College and Estrella Mountain Community College programs. • Rio Salado College – which at this time operates it food service as a training program. • Phoenix College and Scottsdale Community College Culinary Arts training programs as well as any others that are added at a later date. Snack and food vending services shall remain separate from this contract. Future new or expanded food service operations not in operation as of release of this RFP, will be added to the contract as an addendum unless those operations are specifically operated as training programs. Contract Prices, Minimum Portions The Contractor shall comply with the minimum food portions, sizes and prices they have proposed and mutually agreed upon and shall maintain control and uniformity in all their offerings. If any changes to pricing or portion sizes are requested they must be mutually agreed upon in writing in advance. All prices must include sales tax. Food and Supplies Specifications All food and supplies purchased shall be in conformity with minimum standards of Federal and State specifications. MCCCD shall periodically, or as deemed necessary, inspect the Contractor's inventory of food and supplies to determine that purchase standards are maintained. Note: No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products are allowed to be sold on the college campuses, except by special written approval.
