Specifications include, but are not limited to: . Requirements A. The Peoria Fire-Medical Department currently has forty-seven (47) bay doors residing at eight (8) locations throughout the City of Peoria and three (5) roll-up garage doors at the Support Services Building. B. Perform bi-annual inspections and preventative maintenance. Contractor will identify and correct any minor repair issues or unsafe operational concerns. C. Perform general repair of bay doors, operator safety devices, remotes, and all its components. D. Inspection and routine service calls are to be conducted during normal working hours of 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Emergency calls may be after normal business hours. E. Contractor shall respond to call from City within thirty (30) minutes after receiving notification. This means to contact City to confirm the call was received and course of action. F. Contractor must be able to respond to emergency after hour service calls within the hour upon receiving notification from the City. G. Install safety devices and/or door accessories not currently installed; H. Contractor is responsible for providing all parts, equipment and labor for the troubleshooting, repair, ongoing maintenance and/or new installation of all garage doors and safety apparatus for the Peoria Fire-Medical Department. I. Replacement part costs to be within the industry standard or list price. J. Service shall comply with all security and scheduling requirements, including but not limited to emergency callouts, as needed of the Peoria Fire-Medical Department. K. Contractor’s employees shall pass background checks conducted and paid for by City. L. Contractor rates shall include all labor, material and supplies needed for service and repair. M. Travel time to and from the job site is excluded from this contract. There will be no allowances for parking or personal car mileage. No incidentals for travel of any kind are allowed under this contract.
