Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Write SQL code for queries into various student data bases. 2. Able to use SPSS in statistical analyses of student achievement data. 3. Familiarity with student data management systems (e.g., Tyler SIS). 4. Maintains and improves Amphitheater’s Value Added Model (VAM) for use in teacher and principal evaluations where student progress data is required. 5. Conducts and maintains program evaluation designs to determine program effectiveness and program alternatives. 6. Uploads student rosters to the State testing data bases and downloads test results when completed. 7. Uploads student rosters to NWEA MAP and downloads test data for use in State reporting and for teacher and principal evaluation systems. 8. Accesses student achievement results from a variety of data bases ad uploads the data to Amphitheater data base files. 9. Assists in the development of employee evaluation systems which require student progress data. 10. Runs data analysis queries for Move on When Reading (MOWR) and the 301 Performance Pay program. 11. Plans for, initiates, utilizes and maintains computerized assessment databases. 12. Monitors data bases for errors and ensures data base integrity. 13. Collects and assists in reporting Civil Rights Data Collection CRDC data every other year. 14. Coordinates with members of the Superintendent’s Cabinet to establish evaluation and data analysis objectives and priorities. 15. Experience with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and program evaluation models. 16. Participation in the assessment of schools and programs relative to relevant data analysis. 17. Assists in gathering of relevant data for grant writing purposes. 18. Provides background information to administrators, site personnel, and parents to enhance the understanding of evaluation, student assessment and educational research. 19. Compiles, formats, and presents data and prepares project reports. 20. Prepares graphic displays of data as needed. 21. Presents to target audiences as requested. 22. Coordinates with data department members for troubleshooting prior to and during State and local testing windows. 23. Responds to data requests from school administrators and department leaders.
