Be self-contained radiological detection backpack for the detection and screening of objects, people and areas covertly or visibly, 3.1.2. Perform automatically without requiring any input from an operator, 3.1.3. Have Bluetooth capability to receive system information notification while operating hands-free (stealth mode), 3.1.4. Have reachback functionality for remote expert data analysis and detection confirmation, 3.1.5. Have the capability to connect to the RadResponder software tool developed by the Department of Emergency and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), 3.1.6. Have Isotope identification – Gamma library Standard ANSI isotopes, Medical Industrial, SNM and NORM, 3.1.7. Have minimum 3X3 sodium iodide gamma (Nal) detector, the neutron detector shall provide high neutron sensitivity (No Helium -3), 3.1.8. Meet the sensitivity requirements of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) N43.53 criteria for Backpack Radiation Detection Systems, 3.1.9. Have an incident response time in real time for two (2) to three (3) seconds, 3.1.10. Be water-resistant, 3.1.11. Automatically update software, 3.1.12. Include all necessary items for charging the backpack, and Include manufacturer user manuals and user guides.
