Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Contractor shall provide repair, maintenance, installation, and retrofit for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment for Public Housing units located throughout the City. The contract shall include emergency repairs. 2.2. Contractor shall supply all labor, supervision, parts, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary for repair, retrofit, and replacement of HVAC systems for products used in the residential and light commercial environments. 2.3. HVAC maintenance and repair services will be on an “as needed” basis as specified in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). 2.4. The work to be completed under this agreement shall consist of repairs, maintenance, and retrofitting for the following HVAC groups: 2.4.1. Residential - 1.5 ton through 5 ton units: 2.4.1.1. Package gas and electric air conditioning units 2.4.1.2. Package heat pump air conditioning units 2.4.1.3. Mini-split air conditioning units 2.4.1.4. Split systems air conditioning units 2.4.2. Light Commercial - 3 ton through 5 ton units: (Note: HRD has five (5) community buildings with a total of six (6) package HVAC units in the light commercial group) 2.4.2.1.
