Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Municipal Fire Chief will be responsible for identifying the fire departments willing to participate in an RVS pilot study, and select approximately 5-10 candidate facilities for screening. The Municipal Fire Chief will arrange, on behalf of the consultant, a site visit and plan review (if available) for each identified facility. The fire departments will be located in Anchorage or on the adjoining road system in order to minimize travel & per diem costs. If available, the consultant will request as-built drawings for the facilities in advance of screening, to improve speed and reliability. Upon request, the Municipality can provide a map of fire departments and seismic hazards, attendance numbers, and database of building information sorted by local peak ground motions, location, and year of construction. 2. Coordinate purchase or use of a laptop and/or mobile device for installation, operation, collection and management of FEMA 154/ROVER software/data. Provide to DHS&EM upon completion of pilot study for future use and data collection/management. FEMA ROVER software is free of cost.
