Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful contractor (s) will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that has incorporated principles of the Containment Model, including polygraph assessment, into their treatment plans. A trained professional under a separate contract will provide polygraph assessments. The contractor (s) will be expected to be an expert on sex offender treatment and make recommendations on sex offenders in the program regarding amenability to treatment, need for further treatment, and risk to reoffend once released into the community. Treatment services are to be provided as specified in the department’s Standards of Sex Offender Management (formerly Sex Offender Treatment Programs Standards of Care). These services may include intake/assessment, individual and family counseling, group counseling, high risk educational classes, denial groups, and program consultation services as needed or as required by statute(s) or the Department of Corrections. In addition to the basic assessment and treatment services specified in the Standards, the contract treatment provider will be expected to provide clinical expertise in consultations with the polygraph examiner and to incorporate knowledge gained through the polygraph into treatment.
