Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase I:The MHA logo needs a refresh. The current logo has the structure to be turned into something bright, bold, and powerful. For this project, MHA would like to see the current logo updated with new colors and if needed, light changes to the design. The Applicant will provide a logo refresh and branding guidelines services to develop a new, fresh brand that will be used to unite the Montgomery Housing Authority with the City of Montgomery and its residents, while striking confidence and awareness of the services and benefits MHA provides to the community. The color pallet for the logo refresh has not been determined. The Applicant, using their knowledge of color schemes and branding, will provide color pallets to facilitate MHA’s decision. MHA would like the colors to reflect the following terms: progressive, bold, sustainable, and inviting. The logo should be produced in such a way that it may stand alone with just the MHA letters, stand alone with the words “Montgomery Housing Authority,” stand alone with a single symbol that is known to represent the agency, and other variations that will described upon award of contract. The logo should not feel like a government entity. MHA would like to keep it bright and fresh! The Montgomery Housing Authority RFP 2020-13 WEBSITE AND LOGO REBRANDING SERVICES-10 -The website will undergo a refresh with the logo. Upon finalizing the updated logo, the current website should have its color pallet updated to the best of the Applicant’s ability to reflect the new logo. The new logo should be placed on the current website to start disseminating to the public. Someof the images on the current website will be changed out for new images provided by MHA staff or new stock photography. Phase II: The agency needs the MHA Today brand that is currently in place, but not being utilized, to be expanded upon in a rebrand effort. The Applicant, using the brand “MHA Today”, will provide the agency ideas of how to showcase the agency’s progressiveness towards the future of public housing within the city of Montgomery. In collaboration with the expansion on MHA Today, the agency needs a new website to match the brand that has been created. This website should reflect the agency in a bold, progressive, and fresh light while also assisting multiple departments within the agency to move their daily work and tasks to an interactive platform to best serve the residents. In Phase II, if awarded, the Applicant will begin the development of a new website for MHA. The new website will follow closely along with the rebrand of the agency. The website should provide the opportunity for MHA to rebrand itself to the community. The new website will also serve as an interactive platform for departments to conduct daily business/tasks, and function in a seamless virtual setting. The Applicant would be responsible for content transfer from the current website to the new websiteas decided between MHA personnel. The content on the new website should be concise, user-friendly; use high-quality pictures and videos. MHA will provide some images, but stock photography will play a major role in the content on the new website. Stock photography should be approved by MHA before going live on the new website. The Applicant should also provide rebranding guidelines in this phase. As part of the rebrand, MHA will need all materials stated in the Phase II deliverables, to move forward. The Applicant would offer assistance during the rebrand transition to ensure a smooth transition across the agency.
