Specifications include, but are not limited to: The system should provide a robust, simple-to-use, web-based user interface that allows users (Faculty, Staff, and Students) the ability to register vehicles, review tickets, appeal tickets and allow visitor/guests under certain conditions to request guest permits. The system should have the ability to allow anybody, Guest, Faculty, Staff or Student, to pay for a vehicle registration, citation, wheel lock, or tow with a credit card in the web application. In addition, the system should offer the office the ability to register vehicles, accept payments for tickets, wheel locks, tows and/or vehicle registration, the entry of appeals, updating of vehicle information, the assignment of appeals to Appeal Boards, and the creation of ad hoc reports. The system must also have an enforcement module for writing tickets on a smart phone, tablet or notepad and printing them on a printer. The enforcement module must be real time and obtain vehicle registration information as entered either by the user or by the Parking Office. The updating of the person’s account information and scofflaw should be real time once the ticket is printed.
