Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Site Preparation – All ground preparation tasks and the pouring of footer foundations and equipment concrete pads will be constructed. Demolition of current mine rescue shed and the “cut in” of the two connection points to the existing Bevill State Mine #1 will be conducted. 2.Equipment Removal – Both ends of the #1 entry of the current mine will be breached in order for the removal process of the existing mine equipment (Power Center, Shuttle car, Loader, 2 Roof Bolters, Scoop and Charger). Overcast in existing mine will be torn down and material removed from mine. 3.Longwall Face and HG Area Equipment Placement and Assembly – All equipment will be placed on pre-poured longwall equipment concrete pads and assembled in proper order for ease of construction/installation: a.Set TG drive and connect face pans working towards HG (leave off HG drive for now). b.Install face chain for entire longwall face-top chain only. c.Place shearer body at exactly midface and set on panline. d.Install both ranging arms with cutter drums on (TG drum set on bottom, HG drum block up to roofline, 7ft). e.Install bretby cable from shearer to HG drive (shearer cable and water hose pre-installed). f.Set longwall shields from TG (connect relay bars, hosing and electrics going towards HG. Leave off first three shields for now). NOTE: Shield tips not to exceed 84 inches – face roofline. g.Set LW tailpiece and work back towards HG drive connecting shortened stageloader, crusher, one section S/L pan and then HG drive.
