Install new pressure treated 2x blocking at end of rafter tails. Cover blocking and tails with new metal cover. Install new rough sawn Pressure treated 2x fascia. Match existing. Install new metal fascia/drip edge. Metal to extend down 3 inch before turn out. Examine, remove and replace any rotten wood decking as required. Install perforated soffit and fascia at copula. Install all per manufacturers specifications. Provide metal flashings as required for roof transition. Caulk and paint as required. Paint exposed wood at overhangs and rear porch areas. Match existing color. Replacement shingles shall be of a profile, weight, dimension and appearance of the existing removed shingle (Architectual Shingle). Minimum manufacturer's warranty for replacement shingles shall be 35 years. Provide standard ABC warranty. A single shingle material manufacturer shall be used throughout the entire project. Replacement shingles shall be provided with integral algae resistant properties provided by the manufacturer. Replacement of existing removed sheet metal flashings shall be made a part of this Agreement. Replacement flashing shall be of a gauge and profile to match existing removed flashings. Replacement flashing shall be galvanized and mill finished. Add new galvanized drip edge on all roof edges. Replacement of existing removed roofing underlayment shall be with Laminated Asphalt Base Sheet (ice & water shield). Contractor shall take particular care in the removal of existing and installation of new roofing systems. Any building component, whether interior or exterior, damaged during the removal and disposal of existing roofing or roofing components, and installation of new roofing/decking/trim components shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Damage shall be repaired, removed and/or replaced by the Contractor with construction and materials as required to return such damage to its original condition. approximate 75 squares of roof area.
