Masonry: Block installation, concrete placement, concrete finishing, and allied structural tasks. Carpentry & Glazing: Framing, awning repairs, basic demolition, full-service glass replacement, integrated casework, door and hardware installations. Minor Painting & Finish Work: Interior and exterior painting and other general finish-related scopes for use by our Maintenance Department. Supplemental Support: Any additional labor, materials, equipment, permits, dumpsters, or rental resources required to complete assigned tasks in a compliant and timely manner. All services will be performed on an on-call basis to support district facilities initiatives. Bid Requirements & Performance Expectations Qualified bidders must align with the following operational, financial, and administrative criteria: Procurement Compliance Contractors shall first source materials or rental equipment from existing, board-approved procurement channels when available. In the absence of an approved contract, all purchases must reflect competitive market pricing. Contractor Equipment Readiness Contractors must maintain an adequate inventory of essential construction tools to reduce dependency on tool rentals and ensure rapid mobilization. Mandatory Pre-Project Estimates Prior to notice to proceed on any individual project, contractors must provide the Maintenance/Construction Director with a no-cost, itemized estimate, detailing: Apprentice and journeyman labor hours Material costs Equipment rental Permit requirements Applicable markups (as defined below)
