Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor may evaluate existing documents, reports, and studies related to each of the public facilities. Project research may include previous studies and accessibility reports on University facilities, exhibits, maps, and reference documents provided by the University or obtained directly by Contractor from other means. Contractor shall conduct surveys with field reviews of mutually agreed upon University buildings and public areas that provide programs, services, or activities to the public. The surveys will identify potential physical and programattic barriers potential solutions thereto, including the assignment of severity, priority, and responsibility codes in accordance with applicable law and regulations set forth by the Department of Justice. The work shall be performed by or overseen by a certified access specialist (CASp). The ADA Transition Plan shall be approved and signed by said CASp. Prior to beginning the assessment, a written procedure for the proposed methodology and strategy must be submitted to and approved by the University. All assessments should include a robust Photo Documentation Log. The assessment shall include path of travel from point of arrival as defined by Title II of the ADA(1990). All solutions should be accompanied with proposed budgets. The cost models used for these budgets should be regionally adjusted and reflect the nature of working in a higher education setting. Each non-compliant barrier should include multiple solutions with referenced DOJ regulations. Any deliverable must also have fully configurable data fields for custom imports by the University. At a minimum, the data fields should be provided by the Contractor: Deficiency Description, Unique ID, Status, UA Building Number, Recommended Year of Repair, Renewal Code, Priority, Work Item Description, Quantity, Unit of Measure, and Unit Cost Physical copies of individual property assessments with a separate executive summary. A summary of the compliance evaluation should also be included. Develop a recommendation for a comprehensive funding plan. Presentation of the findings to the University Executive Leadership may be required. Additional tasks as determined in conjunction with Contractor consulting services throughout this project. A timeline for completion will be as mutually agreed upon during the evaluation phase of the project.
