Specifications include, but are not limited to: The search will include (but not be limited to) the following: • May assist in editing/finalizing the school board’s draft recruitment profile for the position • Facilitate community meetings and/or automated surveys to seek input from the community and employees regarding desired qualities for the new Chief Financial Officer. • Candidate identification, solicitation, and screening • Coordinate and facilitate the work of the Acting Superintendent, tasked with holding initial and final interviews with qualified candidates and make final Chief Financial Officer recommendations to the School Board. • Coordinate interviews and other meetings as appropriate with the hiring officials • Develop interview questions, selection criteria and other documents as needed for the hiring process, which may include assessment centers • Reference checks, extensive background checks and other appropriate screenings for candidates • Negotiate compensation & benefits package with top candidate(s)
