Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nutrition Department at RICA Baltimore is seeking a vendor’s service to provide a Custom Stainless Steel Milk Cooler with a warranty, in the Cafeteria. The design of the custom Stainless Steel Milk Cooler must be similar to the existing Milk Cooler, see attachments #1 and #2 for more detailed information. Installation and services shall be completed by the Contractor, date/time TBD of the award unless otherwise specified. The existing equipment will be removed by RICA- Baltimore’s Maintenance Team. All work must be completed during normal business hours M-F, Date / Time TBD. The existing Milk Cooler measures 63.5” long x 28” wide x 36” high the top is constructed of 14 gauge stainless steel and the body is constructed out of 18 gauge stainless steel. The Milk Cooler will be fitted with low profile 5” poly casters 2 with brakes. Counter to have three flat lids with handles for the top, self-contained refrigeration, has a defrost cycle & evaporator pan, a defrost drain, louver front and back, wire with a switch for service, cord and plug and tray slide 63.5” long and 11-1/2” D, solid ribbed, stainless steel, stainless steel drop brackets. The interior needs to have 3 interior shelves to place milk containers on. The shelves should respond to the load of milk in the box, meaning they lift up as the shelf is emptied making it easy for students to reach for the milk in the cooler. The interior shelves should be stainless steel and to be removable for cleaning. The unit should have a built-in Thermometer. The vendor shall provide a final draft copy of the custom design of the Stainless Steel Milk Cooler to ensure all specifications meet the Department’s needs.
