The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, signage, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, materials and incidentals necessary to clean the Downtown Mall pavers and bricks of all dirt and debris using power washing equipment. This is inclusive of cleaning underneath all trash cans and around planter beds, being extremely cautious to avoid removal of any paint from the planter pots. Power washing will begin at the Belmont Bridge entrance to the Downtown Mall and continue to the Omni Hotel area, inclusive of all side streets, comprising a total square footage of 181,428. The contractor will adhere to the guidelines for exterior cleaning and washing outlined in Attachment D to avoid discharge of wastes into the City’s stormwater drainage system. A hot steam pressure washer will be utilized to remove dirt from the pavers, bricks and drain vents. The contractor will use acceptable cleaning products found on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Safer Choice website under the “Products with Outdoor Uses” list such as Booyah Clean All Purpose Cleaner and Krud Kutter Pro Cleaner Degreaser or equivalent that meets the standards and is appropriate for the application.
