General Notice
City of Amsterdam (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Chemical Delivery Services
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Clerk’s Office located at City Hall, 61 Church St Amsterdam NY 12010, until May 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Provide and deliver various chemicals to the City of Amsterdam WWTP. These chemicals include the following.

Liquid Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% by weight and 15% by volume)
Potassium Permanganate (free flowing material

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Chemical Delivery Services
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Owner will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available in electronic download of Bidding Documents from emailed PDF for a cost of $5.
Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held.
