Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lot 1 -Siding Repair, Provide and Replacement Scope/Specifications: 1. The Contractor shall provide and replace any damaged or rotten facility siding prior to paint application as applies to building. If the siding is split and can see backing them the siding is to be replaced. (added for clarification) 2. The contractor shall provide, and repair rotted and damaged areas with new/unused plywood, siding, battens, dormer boards and underpinning (lattice) as needed. 3. The Contractor shall repair or provide and replace damaged flashing. 4. The Contractor shall provide replacement wood siding, battens, dormer boards and underpinning(lattice) with like and kind matching existing siding on the facility being repaired. 5. The Contractor shall obtain approval of replacement siding from park representatives prior to installation and painting as applicable. 6. Contractor shall provide any additional parts upon inspection during site visit included in their quote and noted individually at time of bid. Lot 2 – Siding, battens, Fencing, Dormer Boards, underpinning and Deck Painting/Staining Scope/Specifications: 1. The Contractor shall provide and paint using Sherwin Williams Pocahontas Beige matching color to the existing paint color for exterior siding. 2. The Contractor shall provide and apply Sherwin Williams Super Deck Solid Stain Color “Pinecone” to underpinning, decks and privacy fence. 3. The Contractor shall provide all supplies needed to paint approximately 4700 estimated square foot area but shall be responsible for their own measurements and takeoff at the Mandatory Prebid Meeting. 4. The Contractor shall apply paint to both sides of Dormer Boards that are replaced. 5. The Contractor shall paint the window frames and window frames shall be color matched to existing color. 6. The Contractor shall paint all doors and doors shall be color matched to existing color. 7. The Contractor shall NOT paint over dirt, rust, scale, grease, moisture, scuffed surfaces or conditions detrimental to formation of durable paint seal. 8. The Contractor shall apply two coats of paint to all surfaces. 9. The Contractor shall prepare and paint in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. No thinning of paints unless expressly required by manufacturer.
