Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected A/E shall furnish all expertise, labor, and resources for a complete survey and aerial photograph for the Pen Hollow Landslide Survey located in Coeburn, VA. Surveying control, topographic surveying and aerial photography proposed for this project may include (but not limited to) the following phases and tasks. Phase 1 – Surveying Control stations and Site Reconnaissance - (15 Days) • Site investigations and establishing permanent surveying control points to be used to create a topographic map of the project area. The surveying control points shall encompass the project site and be installed as permanent stations and a list of the points with the Northing, Easting and Elevation supplied to the Agency. Surveying control shall be in NAD83 State Plane feet Virginia South coordinate system. The topographic map shall have 2 foot contours with 10 foot index contours. The orthographic imagery shall be in NAD83 State Plane feet Virginia South coordinate system. Site Reconnaissance will identify key features of the project such as disposal area, pipes, utilities, water meters, fire hydrants and ditches to be included on the topographic survey. • Work Product: Map delineating the survey control stations to be utilized for use in the topographic map and orthographic imagery to VIRGINIA ENERGY. Phase 2 – Final (Final Survey and Orthographic Images) – (15 Days) • Work Product: Final Survey and Orthographic Images to VIRGINIA ENERGY incorporating changes from Phase I. A. The A/E shall provide, at minimum, the following to the Agency within the time schedule outlined in the A/E’s proposal or as negotiated in the final contract: 1. The Topographic Survey which includes labeling of all features such as ditches, utilities and pipes in electronic format. 2. The Orthographic Image in electronic format. 3. One set of drawings in AutoCAD format.
